Wow what a busy second week back!
In 7A our new theme is “Let’s Go to the Movies”. During My Communication lessons, learners both in school and at home have finished watching Toy Story and completing written tasks using colourful semantics, practicing using capital letters, full stops and finger spaces.
During My Thinking and Problem Solving we are working on improving our working memory and focusing on number. Some learners have been working on number recognition, some have been practicing number bonds to 10 or 20, and others have been working on multiplication.
Miss Fisher has been introducing a new music topic in My Creativity. In class we explored instruments, and learners at home have been set a challenge to create musical instruments out of recyclable objects next week. We are learning all about rhythm.
In Me and My Body this week we enjoyed a Just Dance disco. Everyone in school chose their favourite songs and we had lots of fun. We also danced with the learners at home on our snack time video call.
Our My Community work this week was all about road safety. Mrs Crouch would like everybody to practice their road safety skills if they go for walks over the weekend. Can you send in some photos of safe places you found to cross?
In other news, Daniel has been practicing his Lego building skills at home and Megan has taken some daily exercise in her local area.
We are very proud of the hard work everybody has done this week. A special well done to our Star of the Week, Megan, for super learning from home! Keep it up 7A!
