8R have been so so busy this week!
We started off the week by focusing on newspapers and the features of them. Next week we are going to write a short newspaper report all about World War 2 and include some exciting facts which we used our iPads to research.
On our Monday teams call we had a think about mental health week. We spoke about how we can try to keep positive and see the good things in different situations. We discussed the difference between optimists and pessimists and thought about all the different ways we can be happy and we can help others to be happy.
In school we worked super hard to create a positivity wall outside our classroom to brighten it up and help everyone around school to feel positive. We used lots of bright colours and our art skills to make it look wonderful. Have a look at some of the amazing pictures of it.
We loved seeing everybody on our celebration assembly on Friday. Well done to Jenny who got star of the week in our class this week.
We finished off our week with a quiz on our teams call. Mrs Devlin was our quiz master and challenged us with some questions about a horrible histories, about world war 2, that we had watched. We all did super work in this and got lots of questions right.
We hope you all have a super weekend!!
