Oak Class have had such an exciting and busy week doing some excellent learning and celebrating Harvey's birthday! We wanted to say a big thank you to Harvey and his mum for the red Spiderman cake that he brought in for his friends and teachers! We hope you had a really fun birthday, Harvey.

We've done so much this week in Oak Class, Harvey has been practicing his writing, Enrico has been learning to roll a sensory toy on Mrs Baxendale's hand, Toby has been exploring the obstacle course with Miss Woods and Isla has done such amazing sight reading with Miss Curry that she got Star of the Week!

We've also been looking at the story of The Mixed Up Chameleon and creating our own animals, counting colourful chameleons and feeding the chameleon, which meant we could practice our fine motor skills.

We've had some really good fun with our friends in school, playing football outside and walking for Captain Sir Tom Moore with Miss Armstrong.

We were very happy to see our friends at home on Teams and loved doing a colour scavenger hunt with them. Oak at home have been doing some good learning too, Oscar and Noah have been super busy learning about The Mixed Up Chameleon along with us in class and lots of other fun activities including another brilliant story for Noah written and illustrated by Miss Woods!

Well done, Oak Class. We hope you have lots of fun with your families at home over the half-term, make lots of good choices and we can't wait to see what you have been doing!
