What a fantastic week in Willow class!
This week we have been celebrating Rainbow Families week as part of LGBT history month.

Willow class enjoyed looking at our families and who lives in our houses- we talked about how all our families were different but all were great. We enjoyed listening to different stories through the week about children that live with two daddies, children who live just with their nanas, children that live with older brothers and sisters and many more family types! We enjoyed talking about how everyone that lives in the same house look after each other and show family love.

On Monday we read the family book and  made some lovely rainbow houses and created peg dolls for the family members in our houses. They looked fantastic!

On Thursday we looked at different households on our class teams call and read the story “Two makes Tango”. We enjoyed drawing our families to show our friends and talking about the different things our family family members enjoy.
We hope everyone had a lovely weekend spending quality time with their families.

Special shout out this week to our star of the week Daniel. Daniel is star of the week for fantastic writing to form a short narrative, superstar!
