This week we have finished the topic Tanks and Trenches. We have all enjoyed learning about WW1 and WW2.
Michael said he enjoyed listening to the story War Horse and Not Bad for a Bad Lad and researching tanks.

We have all enjoyed listening to Goodnight Mr Tom and watching the film.
Mrs Cobham shared with us her Grandad Jackson’s medals and badges. It was interesting to be able to look at the real things instead of just pictures.
We are all looking forward to the Easter Holidays and not having to be up early for school and staying at home.
Our star of the week this week is Sam for working hard and dealing with a change in a mature way.
After the holidays we will be joined in 9R by Mrs Bigio who will be teaching us on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday

Finally this week we have said a sad goodbye to Mrs Down who is moving on to a new school. We have loved having her as our teacher especially her science lessons which have been lots of fun and very interesting, we hope the children she is going to be with appreciate her as much as we do.
