Hi everyone,
We have had another FANTASTIC day in the sun on our residential. Everyone has challenged themselves again. I’m sure we will have some proud parents and family members when you see the photos below!
This morning we played team games, including parachute activities, a ball run and an earthquake challenge. Everyone worked together well as a team, sharing ideas and helping each other. Next, we took part in a crate stack challenge. We had to stack the crates high as we stood on top in partners and see how tall we could build the tower before it wobbled and we fell off. The pupils beat the adults at the crate stack challenge - with Jake, JJ, Connor and Owen G reaching 11 crates high! Amazing!
We had a packed lunch and then got ready for our paddle boarding activity this afternoon. We all went on the XL paddle boards so that we could work together in teams again. We enjoyed races and water fights before returning to short to jump off the jetty. Mrs Crouch helped us swim back to shore once we had jumped into the water as it was quite deep and cold!
Another change to the menu tonight. We enjoyed burgers, curry and chocolate fudge brownies tonight.
After tea it was bush craft. We built shelters in teams before toasting marshmallows around the camp fire. Such fun!
This evening we are having a karaoke party for our final night.
We all slept really well last night so we are hoping for the same again tonight!
Tomorrow is open raft canoeing before we return to school.
See you tomorrow!
