Willow class have had a fantastic start to the week.. celebrating Chris’s birthday!

Today Chris turned 11 so we decorated the classroom and got ready for an afternoon party, celebrating with Chris! 

First we played pin the tail on the donkey.. but with a twist! Chris chose one of his favourite game character so we were pinning the hook onto Foxy. Willow class are notorious for making everyone laugh for being giant cheats at this game so Miss Riley helped to cover eyes so no peeking could happen! We had some close tries but Chris was the over all winner. 

Next we played pass the parcel next where all the children worked together to do some super sharing and congratulating winners. Everyone won a round and Olivia won the final parcel to reveal lots of fruity sweets to share!

The last game Chris chose for his party was musical statues hosted by DJ (Mrs) Lane which quickly turned into musical bumps and had all the boys in stitches laughing. 

Finally we all sang happy birthday to Chris and sat down for a party snack. We were so lucky that Chris brought in a gigantic sausage dog cake, thankyou so much! Chris and Mrs Scambler handed out his cake and then all the children tucked into their snack.

We all hope you had a lovely birthday Chris! You are such a kind friend and well loved member of willow class who has grown into such a sensible young man!
