This week we have been very busy in Sycamore class, we have all be focussing on our own personal targets whilst looking at our progression over the year and all of our achievements. We have looked at our writing, our Colourful Semantics and using a task schedules to be in charge of our own learning.
We enjoyed another visit from Chorley Sports Partnership using the skills we have been working on. During our session we played ‘Night at the Museum’ we all loved it! Everyone focussed well on being statues when the night guard was looking at us then quickly changing our pose when the guard was not looking hoping that they do not catch us in the act!
How’s your balance? In Sycamore we have worked on the Fizzy Kids program. This week we looked at balance, maintaining our balance throwing and catching whilst in different positions. We looked at body positioning walking across a tightrope and the importance of looking forwards.
England being in the final has been very exciting to Sycamore class! Everyone has expressed their engines are fast and they are excited for the final, so this week we have looked at our own football skills and have been trying to score lots of goals, our celebrations of scored goals have been very entertaining. We fully enjoyed making our own finger puppet footballers and origami goals then using them to score more goals.
Have a wonderful weekend everyone and let’s keep our fingers crossed for a win!
