What a wonderful few weeks we have had in 7P!

We have taken part in lots of different activities to show our skills to the adults in class. This has included craft activities, fine motor, writing and turn taking games.

7P had a very successful Coffee Afternoon for Macmillan, where family members came to join us for the afternoon. On the lead up to the event we coloured in our own decorations and baked cakes and cookies with Mrs Mahood.  We had a little competition where we decorated our own cake pictures using lots of different materials along with our family members. Well done to Tig and Sophia who Miss Molloy chose as the winners!

Over the last few weeks we have begun to delve into our theme for the term. We started looking at autumn activities due to the time of year but we are now well on our way with our Witches and Wizards theme. We made our own wands using a glue gun and different materials. Everyone was very sensible using the glue gun and made their own choices to decorate. We then practiced our wand swish by casting 'abracadabra'. This helped us when Miss Hendy introduced our new story 'Winnie and Wilbur and the Amazing Pumpkin'. After reading the first part of the story we began writing some sentences about the story which were brilliant! As well as this we explored the different stations in class such as the fine motor, mark making and small world where we had our own mini pumpkin patch!

Well done 7P for continuing to work hard! I wonder what magic the next few weeks will bring?
