A Rhyme in Time-Old MacDonald

Chestnut Class 2021

This week we have been exploring Old MacDonalds Farm and learning all about his animals. We have retold the rhyme in the sensory tuff tray using masks and small world toys, identifying animals and the noises they make! During Maths we explored big and small and compared sizes of different farm animals. During Attention Autism we used our fabulous communication skills to choose a farm animal to slide down a drain pipe to their correct home! We made choices from water, straw and mud. We had so much fun making choices, communicating and investigating! Today we have been printing using animal prints and colours - we’ve been communicating out choices of animals and colours and love the artwork we have created!

Star of the Week- Ethan L for indicating his choice at snack time and seeking an adult to engage in interactions and his play.
