Friendship week started on Monday, we all wore odd socks to celebrate differences. Miss Beck and pupils decorated a giant pair of odd socks as part of stage 2 attention autism. Pupils then took turns to create individual pieces of a paper chain. Our continuous provision included pairing socks and so did our TEACHH workstations.

On Tuesday, we used spaghetti paint brushes (we are focusing on Italy as part of our All Around the World topic), to paint pictures of our friends and teachers. Miss Bibby delivered a fantastic attention autism session to model this.

On Wednesday, some of us embarked on our maiden voyage to Asda and helped each other locate items from the Oak shopping list. We are very proud of the boys’ travel training progress and cannot wait for next weeks visit.

On Thursday, Miss Goonan delivered an awesome attention autism session, we took turns splatting the pupils and staff of our choice!

On Friday, we celebrated Children In Need.
