Today we learned the story of Holi, the Hindu colour festival. We learned the meaning of different colours and with our coloured glasses we mixed coloured powder. Pupils enjoyed learning about this different culture.
in English we looked at Holi facts and opinions. Pupils enjoyed marking some work on the board correcting errors, which often occur when we rush or don’t focus on our task. Pupils then wrote their own fact and opinion remembering to use correct spellings, full stops and capital letters. As we walked out for break, their peers categorised these into fact or opinion.
