This week we have been very busy in 7A.

On Monday we worked very hard on our number skills and also made some lovely Mothers Day cards, we hope you like them as much as we enjoyed making them!

In Mrs Wells lesson on Wednesday we talked about our picture frames and what they would look like, then we made props and a large picture frame ready for our photo booth session. We are really looking forward to that.

In science this week we learnt all about climate change and what we could do to help save the planet. We knew that you have to recycle, save electricity amongst lots of other things.

We listened intently to a story called The Messy Magpie about Morris the Magpie who feels so lucky when the humans drop some shiny gifts in the forest. 'The Messy Magpie' addresses problems of litter in the environment, focusing particularly on the impact on birds and wildlife and the need for us to recycle our waste. We all enjoyed the story.

Some of us painted a handprint with the Earth on to show we are caring for our planet.

Others researched facts about climate change and wrote sentences on how we can help to look after the world we live in.

On Friday it was Red Nose Day, we had lots of different activities including a scavenger hunt where we had to find the Mr Men and little Misses around school. A few of us showed our friends which were our favourite Mr Men and Little Misses.

We designed our own red noses and Mr Men and Little Misses. 7A were very imaginative when designing their own, we had Mr Wi-Fi, Mr Peter Rabbit, Mr Glam king, Mr Bob and many more.

We all had a fantastic day and are ready for the weekend.

7A wish all the special people in our lives a very Happy Mothers Day and a lovely weekend.
