This term, 9A in their Tuesday afternoon cooking activity, made “Subway Cookies” with different fillings. This week we used white chocolate chip.
We have chosen cookies for this term as 9A is looking at capacity and showing the class that these cookies start as small balls but spread out when cooking and they grow twice as big, plus they are tasty to eat for our snack.
Again we split the class into two groups. There was (as always) lots of amazing teamwork, helping each other reading and weighing out the ingredients needed, following the method and fantastic turn taking in adding and blending the mixture together.
Both teams showed our school values throughout making their cookies. They may not look like the original “Subway Cookies”, but they definitely tasted amazing.
We really enjoyed them for our snack and hope you liked them at home too (that’s if they managed to make it home).
Thank you for your messages in class diaries of your verdict of the cookies. The class enjoyed us reading them out.
Hope you are looking forward to next week’s fillings!
