In 9P we have been remembering all the men and women who served their country in the different wars.
Remembrance Day is a significant occasion that is observed in many countries around the world. It serves as a poignant reminder of the sacrifices made by brave men and women in times of war. We celebrate the day to honour and pay tribute to those who selflessly served their countries, protecting the freedoms and values we hold dear.
On Friday everybody went onto the playground for 11o’ clock to listen to Mrs Chaloner play the Last Post on the cornet and observe a minutes silence. 9P were very respectful of this and loved seeing Mrs Chaloner play as she did it so well.
9P then used their fine motor skills to make their own poppies. They then watched last year’s Remembrance service at The Cenotaph in London. Everyone was very moved and asked lots of relevant questions.
Well done 9P, we are all so proud of you.
