We have been having lots of fun in the build up to Christmas in Maple Class.
We have all enjoyed our Christmas themed sensology, we explored lots of different things using our senses, we loved tasting the gingerbread! We made melted snowman cards during sharing our learning with our parents…. It was so much fun. We did excellent listening and turn taking in attention autism. In our hall session, we had Christmas themed activities, we all enjoyed having a snowball fight!
Over the past couple of weeks, we have been going to Birkacre Garden Centre to look at the Christmas displays, we have our last visit on Monday. Everyone had so much fun and did excellent listening and looking. We enjoyed looking at the singing penguins, reindeers and the Santa band. We spent time on the train and looked at the snow out of the window. We all walked through the crystal cave where we saw sparkly lights, polar bears and penguins. We had to finish in the Grinches Grotto! Maple Class have been amazing on our community visits!
Well done Maple Class
