1st school in for 2024 in 8A

 

It was so nice seeing the learners in 8A returning back to school in 2024.

 

It was lovely hearing all their enjoyable Christmas and New Year celebrations.

 

We have had a fun and relaxing week this week settling the learners back into school routine. 

On Monday afternoon, we made most of the dry weather and went to Devonshire Park, near school. The learners enjoyed going on the swings, roundabout, the small trampoline and playing in the sand.

 

As this term our topic is “Tanks and Trenches”, we are looking at war time recipes that people used to make in the olden time. So this week we made “Bread Pudding”.

The learners followed the instruction of the recipes, soaking the bread, adding sultanas, eggs and sugar. After it was cooked, 8A had a slice for their snack and took a slice home.

I am so pleased that pudding has changed, for the better over the years.
