The sun has been shining this week and with the glorious weather we've had a brilliant week in Oak class!

Everyone has joined in singing and dancing along to the wiggle dance, we have also sung along to counting, cooking, and autumnal rhymes and songs too.

On Tuesday, some members of Oak class went swimming for the first time and everyone had a great time in the pool, showing super travel training on the minibus and by walking beautifully into the health centre. 

We all loved celebrating Astley Park’s ‘outstanding’ Ofsted inspection with indoor and outdoor inflatables. Thanks to the group of children who took a trip to Asda, they bought lots of goodies for our lunch and in class the children tasted lots of delicious picnic treats, too!

Outside, Oak class followed super ‘stop - go’ signals while riding bikes; they all really loved this session.

Finally in phonics, everyone joined in with our ‘s’ sound, loving the icing sugar tray to practice forming the letter themselves. 

A wonderful week where we are all very proud of each member.
