Learners in Sycamore class had a fantastic surprise when they arrived at school this morning. Overnight, a pumpkin patch had appeared on the grass outside their classroom! Everyone went outside to choose their own pumpkin, which they then brought back into the classroom. The next job was to scoop out all the slimy seeds and pulp from inside the pumpkin - some children did this with their hands, whilst others used a spoon. Later on, the learners chose their own designs and with adult support, these were carved into their pumpkins. We also enjoyed a spooky sensory story with Mrs Mahood and a Halloween themed Attention Autism session with Miss Seare-Molloy.
