On Monday morning this week 7A had our Sharing our Learning session.
Parents were invited in to see everything they had been learning about Diwali.
Mrs Chaloner showed the photos from last week and the learners told them what was happening and the different things they had learnt. 7A and parents then made some lovely Diya lamps.
After this everyone tucked into some delicious food that Mrs Hough kindly made especially, she was up very early to do this and it was greatly appreciated. 7A tried biryani, potato curry, chapatis, rice and vegetable pakoras.
Food of the week this week was pomegranate. Most of 7A rated it a 10/10. They really enjoyed it. Well done 7A for continuing to try new foods.
This week was Bonfire night, we made some lovely firework pictures with chalk.
In Food Tech this week we made some cupcakes and we did a taste test to compare them to the ones we bought on our Community Visit to Asda. We had a 50:50 split as to which were the best!
Everyone worked very hard in My Thinking and problem solving on Thursday.
Some of 7A were ordering numbers up to 100 and others were adding and subtracting.
Another fantastic week in 7A… well done!
Hope you all have a lovely weekend.
