This week beech class began to explore our new topic ‘once upon a rhyme’. Our chosen rhyme this week is ‘incy wincy spider’.
During our continuous provision, we explored spider webs using different sensory materials such as foam, glitter, flour and paint. We also used magnifying glasses to find the hidden spiders, used playdoh to make them legs and used our amazing cutting skills to recreate the rhyme.

Throughout our adult-led, we enjoyed making spiders using our hand prints, potato mashers and some us even went on a walk to find real webs!

On Friday, we celebrated Children in Need. We got to wear our own clothes, danced with Pudsey bear and watched Mrs Barrand create her own during Attention Autism.

This week we also celebrated friendship week. We have been focusing on sharing, taking turns and playing alongside our peers. Well done beech class!
