On Monday it was Remembrance Day. All of 7A went outside with the rest of the school and our very own Mrs Chaloner played the Last Post on her cornet. Everyone was extremely respectful whilst observing the 2 minute silence.
We had music with Miss Troughton again this week and drummed along to the beat of the Marching band tune. 7A played brilliantly in time and had a great time.
This week in school has been Friendship Week. On Tuesday everyone wore odd socks to support ‘Odd socks Day’. We have done lots of different activities all about being a good friend. We worked hard on the things we want in a good friend, wordsearches and made some fabulous friends suncatchers. This years theme was ‘Choose respect’ which is one of our school values too. Learners came up with lots of amazing compliments about their class friends. Well done everybody!
7A visited Asda on Tuesday to buy our ingredients for baking cookies, our fruit of week, which was mango, and snack items.Excellent work on finding items, scanning and packing. Most of 7A enjoyed trying mango but a few only rated it 2 out of 10!
Wednesday was swimming day, everyone swam up and down the pool then they did some floating and blowing bubbles. It was a quiet trip back to school, I think everyone was extremely tired after all their hard work!!
7A finished the week doing a taste test on the cookies they made on Thursday and celebrating Children in Need.
Hope you all have a lovely weekend.
