9P Autumn 2 Week 6 - Cinema trip and lots of other fun activities!

9P have had a very busy week again this week!

On Monday, we did Maths in the morning and then PSHE and Weekend News in the afternoon.

On Tuesday, we went swimming in the morning and then did Science and Coding in the afternoon. Two of the pupils went on their community visit to ASDA while the rest of the class did Science and Coding. In Science, we learnt about different types of materials.

On Wednesday, we did English in the morning. They all worked really hard on their segmenting and blending to read words and their memory recall of functional words. We then went on a cinema trip to see Moana 2. This was a make-up trip as we couldn’t do a reward trip last half term. They all behaved amazingly well and we had the best time!

On Thursday, the children did Music in the morning with Ms Troughton. They are currently practising their Xmas song ready for the Secondary Performance. In the afternoon, we did targets interventions. The pupils worked really hard in their allocated groups again. Then we did Picture News as part of our Thrive Thursdays session. We learnt about inclusivity in Sport through this week’s Picture News session.

On Friday, we did a Christmas performance practice in the hall and practised lots in the classroom too. Then we did golden time, celebration assembly and football club in the afternoon. Well done Sian for getting star of the week and well done Jan for your special mention!
