What a busy few weeks in Chestnut class. We have been able to visit the new Outdoor School (aka the mud kitchen) and we love it! There are lots of things to choose from to keep us busy. We can plant our very own flowers using soil, seeds and the watering cans, build sandcastles with the buckets and spades, and explore all the different flowers in the fields such as buttercups and daisies.

Last Friday, we had lots of fun with Mrs Crouch! We made some beautiful pictures of flowers, as well as made our own unique dream catchers. We got to choose from feathers or pom-poms in lots of different colours and did some great helping when pulling the string through the holes.

One of our favourite activity’s this week has been ‘underwater counting’ with Miss Woods, where we counted how many of the different fish there were and showed off our excellent turn taking skills.

What another fun filled week Chestnut Class. Well done guys!
