Welcome back 7A

A fantastic start to 2026 in 7A this week. We have been super busy starting lots of new topics and visiting different Places out in the community.

7A visited Asda to go shopping for the ingredients for our cooking lesson - We made fruit salad and Greek salad. 7A worked together preparing and making the salads, afterwards they all enjoyed eating the salads for afternoon snack.

Science

In science this week we have been learning all about the digestive system,We talked about the circle of life and the food journey. The children enjoyed investigating the journey of food through the intestines into the stomach, 7A enjoyed the practical activity to learn how the digestive system works, we had lots of fun exploring this.

Mathematics

In Maths this week we have been learning about weight and measure, we used different resources around our class to work out the weight using scales to measure the weight of the items we had chosen.

7A also started swimming lessons this week, this was great fun and enjoyed by everyone and we will continue each week practicing our swimming skills.
