Today year 11 learnt that each colour of the Buddhism Prayer flags are to support Buddhist in living a better life, a life without anger, jealousy, ignorance, delusion and pride. We then made our own flags.
This afternoon we looked at the four sights that the Buddha saw which lead him to follow the 4 Noble Truths. Pupils made a poster on the computer representing to show their understanding of the sights and completed a jigsaw of each sight.
As as you can see from the photos we have also enjoyed trying out the outfits of the traditional Buddhist monk.
Another super day for Religion Week!
