We have had lots of fun at summer school this week with group 4.
Miss Cross, Miss Robertson, Mr Aindow and Mrs Simpson have had lots of fun with Lottie, Harry, Isla, Harrison, George, Sean, Austin, Jacob, Harvey, Ruby, William, Teddy and Daniel.
On Monday we had fun exploring outside and joining in lots of relaxing and regulation activities. We listened to lots of nursery rhymes and made our own frog headbands and played in the water. We had lots of fun being ‘speckled frogs’.
On Tuesday morning we listened to the story ‘We’re Going on a Bear Hunt’. Then we had lots of fun exploring outside. In the afternoon we did lots of relaxing with rollers and bubbles. Later we enjoyed time on the iPads playing games and listening to songs.
On Wednesday we enjoyed a creative day! We played with construction toys, spent time colouring and made farm animal crafts too!
On Thursday we listened to the story ‘We’re Going on a Bear Hunt’. Then, we got creative and made our own binoculars to go on our bear hunt outside - we did not find any bears at Astley Park School so made our own instead! In the afternoon we did some dancing and singing to the ‘Bear Hunt’ song with our binoculars.
On Friday we had lots of fun playing with dinosaurs and enjoying the sunshine outside. In the afternoon we enjoyed weather activities and an ice lolly - yummy!
It’s been great fun catching up with more friends.
Have a super weekend everyone!
- Miss Cross
