Last week Group A and Group B had lots of fun in Sycamore Class.

On Monday and Tuesday, Group A enjoyed a messy Attention Autism using water to spray shaving foam off pictures of the friends in their group – we have been working very hard learning the names of our new friends and teachers. We needed some help naming who was in the pictures but we are going to keep practicing to help us remember.

On Monday afternoon Group A had a surprise and made smoothies with Mr Murphy for snack time. Oliver did not like them but Aidan, Ruby and Sian thought they were very yummy!

On Thursday and Friday it was time for Group B to have the fun in school. Group B have been learning the names of their new friends and teachers too. They also enjoyed a messy Attention Autism spraying shaving foam off pictures of friends in their group.

Group B also had a surprise treat and on Thursday got to play on the new climbing frame in the playground. Everyone had lots of fun climbing and exploring with help from the class teachers.

We have been enjoying lots of movement activities throughout the week too, helping our engines become just right for our carpet activities. Playdough Gym, yoga and dancing are proving to be Sycamore favourites. Group B even enjoyed making and decorating their own paper aeroplanes to practice throwing outside- some of them went really far with the wind!

We are very excited to see both our groups again this week for lots more fun and learning together!
