This week 8R having been learning all about why we celebrate Remembrance Day. We made our own acrostic poems about this subject and discovered that we have some budding poets in our class. We made some lovely poppies wreaths along with some great silhouette soldier paintings. On Wednesday we joined in with the two minute silence and Mr Murphy, Mrs Devlin and Miss O’Connell were very impressed with how grown up we were.

In baking we made some more cookies then decorated them the day after. Some of us chose to do poppies and the rest did some Pudsey ones to celebrate Children in Need Day today. Earlier  in the week we made some fruit ice pops. At snack time today we ate a cookie and got to eat some of our fruit ice pops. Another busy and fun week in 8R.
