This week Rowan class have been learning about sea animals and all things sea related! Our fairy tale story this half term is The Little Mermaid, so our work for the next few weeks will be sea themed. 

For My Creativity we had to rescue different plastic animals from the ice. We had to choose what way we thought would be best to help free the animals. Some of use chose to put warm water on the ice, while some of us used salt and plastic tools. 

For The World About Me we were learning about the different habitats sea animals live in. We had a discussion about the different conditions animals live in and the areas they enjoy the most. We each chose a plastic sea creature and filled a plastic bag with blue slime and glitter to recreate the sea.
