What another busy week for Chestnut Class!
We have been carrying on with our beach theme in Class. We have all been busy building sandcastles, making huge ice-creams from different materials and decorating them, pretending to be crabs and click-clacking with instruments, and making handprint crabs. George even made his own boat and enjoyed sitting outside in it in the outdoor area.
As you can see from our pictures the learners at home have also been busy bees!
Austin has been playing animal lotto and making all the animal sounds. He has also made us all very proud by practising his walking, only holding on to 1 person's hand!! Well done Austin!
Bobby has been enjoying the great outdoors, playing on his scooter in the garden :-) Bobby's Mum also said he has been making her proud with his super talking and independence skills.
Ethan has been completing lots of activities from his home learning pack. I can see some super counting in the pictures. You can see by Ethan's smiles that he has also had lots of fun exploring instruments and has even been helping with jobs around the house!! Superstar!
Harrison has also been busy using his 'I can see board'. He can whizz through it now pointing to all the different things that he can see on the pictures!! Harrison also got wrapped up warm to have fun in the garden with sand. He was scooping the sand from one bucket to another whilst building his number knowledge. Great work :-)
Luke has been doing looooots of activities too. He has been practising his fine motor skills cutting out beach pictures and even made a big sensory ocean to put them all in. I can see Luke using his counting finger on his pictures to count objects 1 to 1. Super work Luke!!!
We have 2 stars again this week in Chestnut Class.
Austin, for doing some super walking only holding 1 person's hand. Well done Austin.
Alex, for making good choices and for being a very caring friend. Well done Alex.
The teachers in Chestnut Class are very proud of you all and we think you have definitely earned a rest next week :-)
Have a lovely break and stay safe,
Miss Heaton, Miss Beck, Mrs Worthington & Miss Howarth.
