This week we have been learning about Euro 2020. We have worked in pairs to research different things and we have worked on our own. We have learned about the teams and the players, the countries taking part and we have researched flags.
On Tuesday England played Germany and they won 2-0.
Our resident football pundit Sam said “Jordan Pickford was amazing, I think they played as a team, but at times I thought Kane was lacking and that Southgate should have replaced him with Rashford. I think it was a great result especially against a team like Germany who are strong in all areas and have great management. I’m already looking forward to Saturday against Ukraine but Suarez plays for them and he can be a dirty player. I also think that Southgate should rotate his midfield because there are other players who deserve a chance to play”
Sam has predicted that England will win on penalties after a score of 2-2 at full time.
Cordell has drawn an amazing picture of a fox and also a portrait of Sam.
Crochet corner are still busy crocheting their scarves.
Malachi has been building this great model with the bricks.
Lewis has enjoyed listening to Spanish songs on his iPad using his headphones.
We have each made an about me book for Mrs Tolan to look at to help her get to know us all better, we’ve included family, likes and dislikes and what we do to relax.
Star of the week this week is Cordell for an excellent attitude all week, producing some great artwork and being a great friend.
House of the week is Ravenclaw.
