What a busy week Sycamore have had.
On St David’s day we made Daffodil pictures. We used water colours to create our designs, we looked at the colours of daffodils and incorporated them into our work. Afterwards we held our own ‘Sycamore Art Gallery’ where we celebrated each others art work!
On pancake day, we decorated our own pancakes, we practiced our cutting skills by chopping our own fruit and decided what topping we wanted. Some of us decided to make funny faces in our pancakes. Yummy yummy!
Wednesday was swimming! We had a confidence building session, we was given time to build our confidence in the water and help our friends to build theirs, we did this by using equipment and playing games. Some of us decided to use floats as boats, some of us did throw and catch and some of us had racing games. We was super sensible and our teachers are very proud of us.
World book day was very busy! We had some wonderful costumes in Sycamore and loved looking at each others costumes. We started the day by trying to work out who the mysterious overnight visitor was in school, we decided on Mr Wolf! Sycamore fully enjoyed going on the bouncy castle and playing Jenga, everyone had lots of fun! In the afternoon we enjoyed a story sensory session in the sensory room before watching the costume parade! What a busy day!
Have a lovely weekend everyone.
