During this week 9G have completed activities to improve their road safety skills, this preparation helped them when they went to the shop at the end of the week. We focused on the three main things to remember and the teachers quizzed them throughout the week to see if they remembered - stop, look and listen. We explored what a hazard is on the road and how to cross safely using a zebra crossing. The children did some brilliant learning throughout the lessons and managed to focus very well, they loved planning the trip for the end of the week to get some treats for the class.
In our playground activity staff pretended to be cars and the students needed to make sure the vehicle stopped otherwise they would get ‘SPLAT’ by the car. The learners found it funny when Miss Bibby pretended to be a stranger and they were not allowed to talk to her.
9G showed very mature skills this week which all the staff were very happy with, they demonstrated independence and improvement on key life skills. Well done 9G!!!
Everyone have a great weekend.
