Good afternoon, all,
Let’s start with star of the week. This week’s winner has been fabulous all week and shown how much she is progressing. We are really proud to give this week’s award to – Teegan!
Teegan has been amazing all week, being a true model of all our school values. Teegan has had a positive attitude every day and shown her peers respect and friendship when then have needed it. She has also produced a great piece of writing about Sir Mo Farah as we covered Black history month.
As mentioned above, we have been learning about Sir Mo Farah as part of Black History month. All the pupils have shown great researching and fact writing skills to describe his life so far.
The class have continued the journey into young adults by learning about what ‘justice’ means. The pupils have worked in small groups and explored ‘good and bad choices’ and ‘deliberate and accidental’ actions. They also looked at how they could balance the bad choices to make it right with positive actions e.g. say sorry or stop what I was doing.
We have continued developing the pupils travel skills in the community and maths skills in class along with marking Remembrance Day on Friday by participating in 1 minute’s silence and making poppy shaped biscuits.
All the pupils have worked incredibly hard and deserve two days off!
We hope you enjoy our pictures.
