Well another busy week in 8A. We started the week off celebrating Chinese New Year. Mrs Bentham brought some Chinese food in for us all to try and we made some Chinese dragons which are on the display board.
We have been learning about how our heart works and we used stethoscopes to listen to them beat.
Miss Anderson taught us on Wednesday afternoon and we made some fantastic models that our friends were challenged to guess what they were. Have a look at the pictures and see if you can guess what they are.
Our community visits continue and the pupils continue to make us very proud as they are always great ambassadors for Astley Park School. We love going on the bus to Buckshaw and this week the weather was kind to us so we were able to spend some time on the play area next to the hub.
in PE we were learning about different rolls and worked on perfecting our forward rolls and pencil roles.
In Cooking and Nutrition we made some chocolate chip muffins to enjoy at Joseph’s birthday celebrations. You can see the celebrations on another blog.
Our Star of the Week this week is Ben for always being a kind friend. Well done Ben.
We hope you enjoy looking at our pictures.
