This week for Children’s Mental Health Week, we will be thinking about how the connections we have with others are good for our mental health. We started the week by playing a hoop game, where we had to stay connected and pass a hoop around the circle. As we passed the hoop around, we talked about the connections we have with each other, such as things we like doing together or places we like going together. We then made jigsaw pieces which we decorated with things we do to connect with others, such as gaming, playing cars or drawing. We then joined our jigsaw pieces together to show all of the wonderful connections we have with each other in Willow Class. Some learners thought about how they feel when they are in different zones to help them to better understand how they can maintain positive mental health. Good work everyone!
