Well, it’s been a busy last two weeks in Chestnut Class. We have been looking at Doctors in our Emergency! Emergency! Topic and the story of Ness the Nurse. The pupils have enjoyed practicing putting plasters on our dollies and teddies.
To mark Children’s Mental Health Week, we have used this important topic as inspiration for our Attention Autism sessions. This has included searching for pictures of different feelings and emotions in our Geli Baff cauldron and creating different faces with spaghetti and paint.
It has been a great first half term getting to know all the Chestnut pupils and I look forward to seeing what more fun activities and learning we can do after the break.
Have a peaceful and fun half term.
