Good afternoon all,
Wow! I can’t believe what we have managed to squeeze in this week. All the pupils have been busy working on their communication skills by making requests, some have even been travelling with their PECs book to ask their adults for their motivating items.
This week we have been learning about doctors and nurses and exploring our sensory story of Nurse Ness. This has given the pupils the chance to explore different actions and then practice putting plasters on our large dolly while identifying different parts of the body.
To celebrate Science Week, the Chestnut Class pupils were challenged to make a natural bird feeder. All the pupils enjoyed exploring cutting apples and pressing sunflower seeds into them, before feeding them to the birds.
On Friday we celebrated Red Nose Day by having Mr Men and Red Nose themed activities throughout the day. These got very messy!
All the pupils have had an excellent time this week, with some fantastic learning and communication.
We hope you enjoy looking at the pictures.
Have a fun and peaceful weekend.
