Maple Class learners have been super busy this week as we enjoy lots of different activities and special days. On Monday we celebrated Science Week and the theme this year was ‘Connections’. Maple Class have been identifying mystery scents during Attention Autism sessions and expressing whether we liked them or not! Learners were keen to explore and identify the scents from the different pots and we certainly had our favourites - chocolate and coffee! We did not care much for the onion!
Learners are gaining confidence in their PE sessions with Chorley Sports Partnership and accessing the apparatus to climb and travel safely and our instructor has commented on how well Maple children are listening to follow instructions from their initial starting points at the beginning of the term. We are so proud of you all.
We have had lots of fun for Comic Relief exploring the colour red through AA and making funny faces and icing cakes and of course not forgetting making cards for Mother’s Day on Sunday and celebrating the special people to us.
What a wonderful week Maple Class, well done on your fantastic learning!
We hope you enjoy the pictures.
Have a lovely weekend
