This week 11G have been busy finishing their ASDAN work.
On Monday in maths they looked at measuring and the different ways to measure liquids and solids.
The class watched the start of The BFG as this is the book they will be looking at this half term. We made some frobscottle, the BFG’s favourite drink, using ice cream, lemonade and green food colouring. Some of the class thought it was yummy while some of the others didn’t like it at all.
As part of Environmental Awareness for ASDAN 11G visited Chorley in Bloom again this week. This week Iris asked the pupils if they could help tidy up as someone was coming from BBC Radio Lancashire to interview the team about what they did. The pupils did a brilliant job moving pots and rubbish to tidy up the decking area.
On Thursday the pupils finished their Mother’s Day surprise.
As usual Friday is bacon butty day, 11G’s favourite day of the week, they look forward to their bacon butties on a Friday morning.
Friday was also Red Nose Day, the pupils did lots of fun activities in class, including designing a red nose and a scavenger hunt.
