Our week started on Tuesday after the Mayday Bank holiday. We went on our full class trip out to Withy Grove Park. We are continuing to have fun and are working really well as a full class on these trips. We arrived back at school tired and ready for lunch after the fresh air and exercise.
We are tending the the flower beds at the front of school and are still trying to control the weeds. This is very much a work in progress. We have also planted some tomato plants into our raised bed in the poly tunnel. A lovely lady donated lots of these to school. We will water and care for these and hopefully have some juicy tomatoes. Mrs Stubbs has helped us plant some different herbs too. We can wait to see the fruits of our labour.
PE this week saw us finding words around the field which we had to match to the correct picture. It was funny to see the wind blowing some of the items away. We built up a sweat but had great fun. We also had a fun game of “ farmer and foxes”. You can see by the smiles on our faces how much fun we had.
Our shopping trips this week were to purchase items for our Coronation lunch. Everyone helped to make the lunch, making sandwiches and healthy crudités. We wore our homemade crowns and decorated the room and windows. We enjoyed our lunch together then posed for our pictures. We hope you enjoy looking at our blog.
