On Thursday 10A took part in a treasure hunt around the beautiful village of Whalley, we had to work as a team to  read and solve clues. We had to listen really well as the clues were really difficult, we had to use our numeracy skills, and our reading skills to decipher the codes to find the next clue.

The clues led us to Whalley Abbey, we had a great time exploring the ruins and reading all about how the monks used to live in the 1500’s. We used our imaginations to think about how it would have been to live at the abbey.

We then completed our week with a pub lunch, we made some lovely choices selecting what we would like from the menu. We enjoyed sitting with our friends and practicing our table manners and social eating skills
