On Tuesday, we celebrated International Men’s Day. We did a lesson linked to these celebrations on Tuesday afternoon.

In this lesson, we learnt about:

- stereotypes and looked at different types of stereotypes (with visuals for support)

- how men can be under a lot of pressure at work and at home e.g. dads worrying about their children as they want the best for them

We completed an activity where the children completed a booklet about their dads/stepdads/main role model in their lives. The children really enjoyed doing this and were given differentiated support with their writing. There were some very funny responses (see photos)!

9P were very respectful and all said they’d give their dad/stepdad/main role model in their lives a big hug when they got home to show them that they appreciate them.
