9A had a very colourful week. In Science we made ‘silent fireworks by mixing oil and water and then added food colour and watched as the colour ‘exploded’ in the water. We then noticed how the oil floated on top of the water and made a seperate layer.
We then all had had a lovely visit to Devonshire Park and everyone had great fun and did a super job of crossing the road safely.
The highlight of the week was taking part in celebrations for the festival of Holi which involved a ‘Colour run’ where everyone threw coloured paint at each other which was fantastic fun, there were some very colourful young people at the end of it!
