Hello everyone,
Willow class have been feeling very creative last week, enjoying MADD week through arts at home and entering the flag competition. Let’s have a look at what Willow class have been up to!
Alfie has been enjoying time in the sunshine in the garden with Nana! He has been keeping active by playing on his Segway and practicing his tennis skills by playing swing ball and tennis- wow! He even played in his pyjamas on Friday for Pyjamarama day. Alfie has enjoyed playing with his puzzles and practicing his writing by writing a McDonalds order for when it’s open. Alfie really impressed Nana by opening a book and reading by himself- well done Alfie!
Connor got involved in MADD week this week and listened very carefully to Miss Hendy on her YouTube video explaining how to enter the flag competition. Have a look at Connor’s amazing football themed flag! Well don’t Connor!
Grace enjoyed her time in school with Miss Heaton last week, taking part in lots of exciting activities based around their weekly theme- the hungry caterpillar! Grace did lots of work on healthy eating and sorting different types of food- good work Grace!
Hasan is great at art and has enjoyed getting creative this week! Hasan created some fantastic hand print artwork with mum- look at his painting of the tree! Hasan also joined in with Pyjamarama day and had a go at some of the work from the book trust website. We hope you are enjoying spending Ramadan At home with your family Hasan!
Jake has used his ICT skills to create his MADD week flags online on purple mash and designing a textured Kangaroo picture using different effects- looks great Jake!
Kayla also enjoyed creating some electronic art for MADD week and designed a tropical fish that might be found In Brazil in the rivers! Great use of colour Kayla!
Well done to Liam our star of the week who has been working very hard at home on his equivalent fractions and addition of mixed fractions- wow! Liam has been completing some tricky maths work on education city this week and has been enjoying his science work looking at different categories of animals and their common features.
Olivia has been getting creative celebrating the 2.6 challenge by doing a sponsored challenge of designing a Mehndi pattern- 26 of these patterns! Wow Olivia, they look great! Olivia’s mum then helped her to put her designs onto her hands with Henna, these look great!
Owen has been enjoying the MADD week activities, creating a complicated four flag design for the design competition! Can you see what Owen’s flags spell? I love the jewels Owen, beautiful work! Owen has also been playing maths-monopoly with mum and having a go at Miss Linde’s melting ice science experiment. Keep up the good work Owen!
I have also seen lots of fantastic work on education city and purple mash which has made me feel very proud of how hard you are all working at home!
Keep sending in your lovely photos of what you have been up to and stay safe!
