Happy Eid everyone! 10G have had a lovely time this week learning all about Eid. First we all had a chat about what we thought Eid was and what religion celebrated it. Then we watched a video of children explaining all about what Eid is and learnt some fantastic facts about it such as the fact that there are 99 names for the word Allah. Then we all took turns to make the symbol for Eid in different ways. First we made the symbol using crackers, apples, bananas and peanut butter, they looked and tasted delicious. Then we made the symbols out of paper plates and glitter. They look beautiful and we can’t wait to hang them up at home. Then we made some fantastic Eid cards for our families to take home. Finally we all read through the PowerPoint all about Eid and talked about what facts we all learnt that day about the celebration. Great work 10G. Happy Eid!
