Chestnut class have been listening and attending to lots of different musical instruments this half term. We have enjoyed the rainmaker and big drum and couldn’t wait to have a turn to repeat back the sounds we heard. We have been recognising and identifying sounds of hidden instruments, repeating back the beats we hear, and enjoying the different sounds they make. We have experimented with sounds loud and quiet, fast and slow and feeling the vibrations against our hands and faces. We have been working hard on listening skills, joint attention, waiting and turn taking and making wonderful sounds! Well done Chestnut Class!
