Well this week our class as always had fun. Out and about on our usual community visits. We now have a table reservation when we visit the Cappuccino@the hub, and the pupils are gaining confidence with their independence. We have problem solved situations ourselves and asked for straws independently and takeaway bags too. The staff are extremely proud of how far you have all come in such a short space of time.

Our PE session this week challenged some of us, when jumping down off a high bench, but we all tried so hard to remember to bend our knees to land safely. We encouraged and helped each other which is lovely to see. 

Our Cooking and Nutrition lesson saw us making Leek and Potato Soup. Mrs Devlin’s group managed to set the smoke alarm off but all was ok in the end, and in the taste off Jake and Joseph’s soup was voted the tastiest so the minor issue of the smoke alarm proved not to be a problem.
 

Our Star of the Week this week was Jake for some fantastic Maths work with Miss Linde and Mr Crew. Well done Jake.
