8A are continuing to build their confidence and independence skills on our community visits. This week we concentrated on our road safety skills, with each of the pupils taking turns at crossing their peers across the road. The weather hasn’t always been kind to us this week but this hasn’t stopped us getting out and about. Some of us borrowed one of the school umbrella to make sure we stayed dry.
We were invited to join some other classes as part of World Book Week and and we all joined together to learn a dance. The theme for our dance was Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. I must say the pupils did amazing at learning the routine in a short space of time.
In Cooking and Nutrition we worked at improving our smoothie recipes and introduced some different fruit this week. The pupils decided to try pineapple this week. The smoothies are getting better every week.
This week we had 2 Stars of the Week. Olivia for having a positive and can do attitude all week and Joseph for coping very well in a difficult situation. We are very proud of both Olivia and Joseph this week.
